Student Award for Travel and Mentorship in Non-Animal Toxicology

London Harper

PETA Science Consortium International e.V. has named London Harper, an undergraduate student of biomedical sciences at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, US, as the recipient of its travel award to attend the 61st annual Society of Toxicology (SOT) conference.

To foster inclusivity in the sciences, the award was created to support the education and training of students attending a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) who are interested in non-animal approaches to toxicology testing and biomedical research.

At this year’s SOT conference, which will take place in San Diego, CA, US from 27-31 March, 2022, London will have the opportunity to engage in various mentoring and professional development opportunities.
