OECD Publishes an IATA for Serious Eye Damage and Eye Irritation

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published a new guidance document on an Integrated Approach on Testing and Assessment (IATA) for Serious Eye Damage and Eye Irritation. It replaces the “sequential testing strategy” that supplemented OECD Test Guideline 405 and provides guidance on how to integrate existing information, physicochemical properties, and non-testing methods in a weight-of-evidence approach for regulatory decision-making. The document can be found here.
