Thailand Joins OECD Agreement on Mutual Acceptance of Data

Thailand has joined the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Mutual Acceptance of Data (MAD) system, a multilateral agreement that sets criteria for non-clinical health and toxicity testing data. Through MAD, the 44 participating countries must accept toxicity testing data that meet the criteria. This can reduce the numbers of animals used in testing by minimizing duplicative testing for chemicals. Read the announcement here.
